On-going Floating Support
Gentle, consistent support — at your pace
Our ongoing support service is ideal for anyone who finds the idea of a full declutter or deep clean over just a few days too overwhelming, or if they’re needing support to maintain their homes long-term.
This slower, steady approach allows time to build trust, confidence, and lasting change — one step at a time.
Progress happens at the client’s pace and is guided by their level of engagement. We work alongside each person, offering encouragement and practical help while ensuring they remain fully in control throughout the process.
How it works
We begin with a free, no-obligation 30-minute introductory visit at the individual’s home.
This gives an opportunity to ask questions, understand how our support works, and discuss goals. Together, we’ll agree on focus areas and estimate the number of hours of support that may be needed each week.
Depending on the level of clutter and the client’s comfort, ongoing support may involve one or two team members per session.
Referrals can be made directly by the individual or by a professional involved in their care — such as a social worker, GP, or housing officer.
Support can be privately funded or accessed through Direct Payments following a care needs assessment.
What to expect
Clients remain in full control at all times.
We work together through each area, helping to sort items and decide what to keep or let go of — always at the client’s pace and comfort level.
Unwanted items can be disposed of responsibly or donated to charity, depending on personal preference. Our role is to provide calm, non-judgmental guidance to reduce stress and help make each decision feel manageable.
Developing skills for long-term, sustainable success
Beyond decluttering, our ongoing support helps individuals build practical life skills and confidence in maintaining their home environment.
This may include:
Learning how to safely maintain a home environment.
Building structure, confidence, and independence.
Creating lasting habits with tools such as timetables or weekly planners.
Every step forward — no matter how small — is progress toward a calmer, safer, and more manageable home.
