About us;

Who We Are

Rethinkable was founded in 2024 by Ori and Laura in response to a clear gap in quality support for people who need help maintaining their homes — particularly those living with mental health challenges, hoarding tendencies, or complex living situations.

They recognised that while many services can assist with cleaning or decluttering, few truly understand the emotional and psychological barriers that can make it difficult to manage at home. Rethinkable was created to bridge that gap — offering practical, compassionate, and mental-health-informed support that empowers people to regain control of their living space and overall wellbeing.

Our Story

With extensive training and experience — both personally and professionally — in supporting people with mental health conditions, Ori and Laura have seen firsthand how easily a home can become overwhelming when life feels difficult.

This is especially true for individuals experiencing hoarding behaviours or living in environments that require more specialist intervention, including biohazard cleaning.

Whether someone is recovering from a setback, moving into a new property, or struggling to keep up with daily tasks, the right kind of support can make all the difference.

That understanding became the foundation of Rethinkable: a service designed to provide sensitive, hands-on support at every stage — from initial clearance and specialist cleaning through to helping individuals move forward with greater confidence and stability.

Our Approach

We believe that meaningful, lasting change happens through trust, patience, and collaboration.

That’s why our support is always person-centred, non-judgmental, and led at the client’s pace.

We take time to understand each individual’s circumstances, tailoring our approach to suit their goals and comfort levels — particularly when working with hoarding behaviours or more complex environments.

We also work closely with social workers, housing officers, and other professionals to ensure our support aligns with wider care plans and achieves the best possible outcomes for each individual.

Our work combines practical strategies with emotional understanding, helping people find realistic, sustainable ways to manage their home life. Every small step forward is valued — whether that’s clearing a space, making a home safe again, or taking the first step towards change.

Our Vision

At Rethinkable, we believe that everyone deserves to live in a space that feels safe, calm, and supportive of their mental health.

Our mission is to make that possible — not just through decluttering or specialist cleaning, but by empowering people with the tools, skills, and confidence to move forward.

We’re passionate about creating lasting impact in our community — reducing isolation, supporting housing stability, and helping people rebuild the foundations for a more secure and fulfilling future.

In short

Rethinkable exists to make a practical difference where it matters most — at home.

We combine empathy, expertise, and specialist support in hoarding and biohazard environments to help people transform their living space into one of safety, dignity, and independence.
